Anna Madigan

My style of work is focused on the female body and movement. I enjoy observing and sketching my surroundings as well as the people around me. As for my sustained investigation, I wanted to take the digital and physical world and combine them into one. I took photos from a memorable trip of mine and inserted works from my sketchbook to produce a nostalgic and ominous tone to the works. As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety throughout my life, I created this investigation to portray loneliness within a group of people and in beautiful places.
